Verification Policy
Guidelines on owner declarations, government ID verification, property proof documents, and moderation procedures.
1.Owner Declaration
Listing confirmation: Owners must certify legal ownership or authorization, verify accuracy of all details, and agree that duplicate ads or broker listings are prohibited.
2.Identity Verification Documents
Accepted IDs: Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, or Voter ID. Aadhaar is not specifically required; owners may upload any one of the government IDs.
File parameters: Supports JPEG/PNG images and PDF documents up to 10MB.
3.Property Verification Proofs
Accepted proofs: Latest Electricity Bill, Property Tax Receipt, Registered Sale Deed, Builder Allotment Letter, Society Maintenance Bill, or an Authority Letter.
4.Moderation Workflow & Badges
Review workflow: Submissions remain pending/unpublished until approved by the admin moderation team.
Vetted Badge: The Verified Owner badge is granted only after successful document checks.
5.Penalties & Banning
Suspension: Posting fake or broker listings leads to listing removal, badge revocation, and permanent account/IP suspension.
