Rules governing platform access, Owner and Tenant responsibilities, prohibited broker listings, and legal limitations.
1.Platform Role as Intermediary
Intermediary Interconnection: GharDirect is an online direct rental intermediary operating under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 of India.
No Commissions or Brokerage: We connect Owners with Tenants directly. We do not participate in lease drafting, rent collection, property visits, or tenant screening.
2.User Responsibilities
Owners: You represent that you possess lawful title or authorization to rent out the properties. You must post accurate rent rates and keep availability updated.
Tenants: You must register with genuine credentials, use contact reveals for renting purposes only, and respect Owner communications.
Prohibited Broker Use: Real estate brokers, sub-agents, or property managers acting as brokerage representatives are strictly forbidden from listing property ads.
3.Listing Approval and Suspension
Review Rights: We reserve the right to review, edit, reject, or remove any property ad that violates our listing formats.
Enforcement: Accounts violating broker bans, posting fake coordinates, or using duplicate images will be suspended immediately.
4.Disclaimers and Governing Law
Intermediary Exclusions: We do not guarantee listing accuracy or rental success. Tenants must verify ownership credentials directly.
Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by Indian law, and any disputes shall be referred to Noida, Uttar Pradesh courts.
