Cancellation Policy

Last updated: June 17, 2026. This page details the rules regarding subscription plan cancellations, account terminations, and credit expiration terms on GharDirect.

Plan Flexibility

GharDirect provides flexible, pay-as-you-go credit packages and time-limited subscriptions. We do not enforce auto-renewing subscriptions, meaning you are in complete control of when you spend money on our platform.

1. Subscription Cancellation

Since our premium plans do not charge recurring subscriptions (we do not store cards for auto-debits), there is no recurring fee to cancel.

  • You can choose to stop using your premium features at any point.
  • Your active subscription benefits (such as unlimited owner request callouts) will continue until the expiration date of your current plan.
  • Once your plan reaches its end date, your account will automatically downgrade to the free plan. You will not be charged any ongoing fees.

2. Credit Expiry & Validity

When you purchase individual contact unlock credit packages:

  • Each credit package has an explicit validity period (typically **30 days, 60 days, or 90 days** from the date of purchase).
  • Unused credits will expire automatically at the end of their validity period. We do not rollover expired credits to new cycles unless you purchase a new credit pack before the expiration date.
  • You can monitor credit validity directly in your seeker or owner dashboard under billing details.

3. Service Termination & Account Deletion

You can request to delete your GharDirect account at any time:

  • To delete your account, navigate to profile settings and click **"Delete Account"**, or email support@ghardirect.com.
  • Upon deletion, your personal profile records, listing data, and active search histories will be permanently removed or anonymized within **30 days**.
  • Any remaining, unused contact credits or active premium subscription days will be permanently canceled and cannot be refunded or transferred.
